Sharpist launches AI coach to support employees between human coaching sessions

Berlin-based Sharpist announced on 23 April 2026 that its AI Coach is available for wide rollout to corporate clients. The company describes the tool as an always-on companion that works alongside its existing human coaching programmes. It reads summaries of an employee's sessions with a human coach, picks up the conversation from there, and follows up on the commitments and action items agreed in those sessions.
According to Sharpist, users can talk to the AI Coach by chat or voice and choose from five coaching styles. Each session is reviewed against International Coaching Federation Master Certified Coach standards using a quality-check system made up of 16 AI agents. The company said human and AI coaching sit on one shared timeline, and that conversations are hidden from HR and managers, are not used to train AI models and are hosted in the EU.
Sharpist said the product went through a four-month beta in which participants, including frontline and shop-floor staff, rated sessions 4.5 out of 5 on average. Chief executive Hendrik Schriefer argued that employees tend to think about company transformation only once a year. The company named PALFINGER, IKEA and Airbus among its clients and said an analytics layer giving HR anonymised insights is coming soon.
Why it matters
Pairing AI follow-up with human coaching is one way providers are trying to extend leadership development beyond occasional sessions to more employees, while keeping individual conversations private from employers.
