Lead the conversation on learning and assessment at your institution
WAC Faculty Campus Ambassadors are the council’s point of contact at their college or university. You bring WAC’s research, events and courses to colleagues and students, mentor the student ambassadors, and take part in WAC’s work on AI, skills and assessment.

Faculty know what is really happening in classrooms
Policy on AI, skills and assessment is being written now, often far from the people who teach.
Faculty Campus Ambassadors connect their institution to that work. You share WAC’s research with colleagues, host a session each term, guide student ambassadors and bring what you see in your classrooms into WAC’s white papers and events.
What an ambassador does
- Be WAC’s contact on campus: share WAC research, masterclasses, courses and the Digital Summit with colleagues and departments.
- Host one session a term: a faculty discussion, a guest talk or a white-paper workshop. WAC helps with speakers and material.
- Mentor student ambassadors: guide the Student Campus Ambassadors at your institution, if there are any.
- Contribute your expertise: review a white-paper draft or join a panel, when it fits your field and your time.

Questions and answers
Who can apply?
Faculty members and academic staff at any college or university, in any country: lecturers, professors, researchers, heads of department and learning and teaching staff.
Is it paid?
No. It is a voluntary role. Ambassadors receive the membership, Summit pass, speaking invitations and recognition on this page.
How much time does it take?
A few hours a term: one session, staying in touch with the WAC team and, if your institution has them, guiding the student ambassadors.
Does my institution need to be a WAC member?
No. Ambassadors can come from any institution. If your institution later wants to join, you will be the natural point of contact.
Is this an accreditation of my institution?
No. The World Assessment Council is not an accrediting body. The role recognizes you as an individual; it says nothing about your institution’s programmes.
Can I speak for WAC?
You represent WAC at your institution and share its work, but you cannot sign agreements, collect money or make commitments on its behalf.
