Work with WAC

Work with the World Assessment Council

Three routes into the work of the four Focus Centres, depending on who you are and what you need.

Universities, colleges and schools
Route 1 of 3

For universities, colleges and schools

Evidence your program teams can use, a place in the work of the four centres, and a stage at the Digital Summit.

Use the research

The white papers and annual reports are free (you give your name and email to download a PDF). Each ends with a framework and recommendations a program team can apply to its own courses.

Join as an organization

Organization membership puts your staff into the centre communities. The partner levels add a yearly readiness review against a WAC framework and a workshop for your faculty. The first 50 organizations become Founding Members.

Take part in the Digital Summit

Propose a session or a panel for the WAC Digital Summit 2027, online from 9 to 12 April 2027.

Talk to us first

Have a specific question about assessment, AI, internationalization or skills? Write to the team.

Educators, researchers and students
Route 2 of 3

For educators, researchers and students

Free, sourced research and audio briefings, a centre community, and member prices on WAC learning.

Read and listen

The white papers, Spotlight and WAC Signal are free, with sources for every figure.

Join as an individual or a student

Individual membership ($60 a year, $30 in lower-income countries) and student membership ($9 a year) include a centre community, member briefings and member prices on masterclasses and courses.

Education companies
Route 3 of 3

For education companies

Be found by the universities and educators who use WAC, with every paid item clearly labelled.

Be listed

A basic listing in the EdTech Directory is free.

Join as a Member Organization

Membership adds a featured listing, labelled member news in WAC News and member prices at the summit. Startups pay $450 a year in every country. See Membership.

Partner on the summit

Sessions and partnerships for the Digital Summit 2027 are labelled as partner content.

What membership does not buy

Taking part never buys a finding

Membership, partnership and sponsorship pay for participation, services and labelled partner content. They do not buy what WAC concludes.

No say in conclusions

Members and partners cannot commission a finding, review a draft or have a conclusion changed.

Paid items are labelled

Member news, partner features, sponsored sessions and featured listings say what they are.

Not an accreditation

Membership is not an accreditation or a certification. The rules are in our Research Standards.
