Kide Science

Offers play-based, story-led science and STEAM lessons that preschool and kindergarten teachers run with children aged roughly three to eight.

About Kide Science

Kide Science provides an inquiry-based early science programme built on research at the University of Helsinki. Teachers prepare on an online platform, then lead short, screen-free, hands-on activities framed by stories set in an imaginary world called Supraland, using common classroom supplies. It is designed to supplement existing early-years curricula and includes assessment materials, teacher training and home experiments. Since 2023 it has been part of US curriculum publisher Accelerate Learning. The company says it has customers in 32 countries, 30,000 registered educators and has reached one million children.

Acquired by Accelerate Learning Inc. (US, maker of STEMscopes) in October 2023; still offered under the Kide Science name as an Accelerate Learning product.
