Welcome to the World Assessment Council ("WAC," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, platform, programs, services, and any related applications (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our Services.
Agreement: These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the World Assessment Council. If you are using our Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Eligibility
To use our Services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be prohibited from using our Services under any applicable law
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
If you are accessing our Services on behalf of an educational institution or organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms and that the entity agrees to be bound by these Terms.
Account Registration
Creating an Account
To access certain features of our Services, you may be required to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. We recommend using a strong, unique password and enabling any available security features. WAC will never ask for your password via email or phone.

Our Services
The World Assessment Council provides educational services including, but not limited to:
- Educational Programs: Courses, certifications, and professional development programs focused on AI-powered digitalized learning, internationalization, and skill-centric learning
- Assessment Services: Evaluation tools, competency assessments, and certification examinations
- Resource Library: Access to educational materials, research publications, and learning resources
- Community Platform: Networking opportunities, forums, and collaborative spaces for educators and learners
- Events & Conferences: Virtual and in-person events, webinars, and workshops
Service Availability
We strive to maintain the availability of our Services, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our Services at any time with reasonable notice.
Membership & Fees
Membership Types
WAC offers various membership levels for individuals and institutions. Membership benefits, features, and fees vary by tier and are described on our website.
Payment Terms
By purchasing a membership or service, you agree to:
- Pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase
- Provide valid payment information
- Authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring fees (if applicable)
Refund Policy
Refund eligibility depends on the specific service or program. Generally:
- Annual membership fees may be refunded within 30 days of purchase if no services have been utilized
- Program fees may be refunded according to the specific program's refund policy
- Certification examination fees are non-refundable once the examination has been scheduled

User Conduct
When using our Services, you agree to conduct yourself professionally and ethically. You agree NOT to:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of WAC or any third party
- Transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers connected to the Services
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Services
- Use automated means to access the Services without our written permission
- Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
- Engage in any form of academic dishonesty or examination fraud
- Distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content
Violation of these conduct rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and access to Services.
Intellectual Property
WAC's Intellectual Property
All content, materials, and features available through our Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, software, assessments, and educational materials, are owned by or licensed to WAC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Limited License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our Services for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. This license does not include:
- The right to copy, modify, or distribute our content
- The right to use our content for commercial purposes without written permission
- The right to reverse engineer any software or technology
- The right to remove any copyright or proprietary notices
Trademarks
"World Assessment Council," "WAC," and our logos are trademarks of the World Assessment Council. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.
User Content
Your Content
You may have the opportunity to submit, post, or share content through our Services ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by submitting it, you grant WAC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your User Content in connection with our Services.
Content Standards
User Content must comply with these Terms and all applicable laws. You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to share the content
- The content does not infringe any third-party rights
- The content is accurate and not misleading
- The content does not violate any laws or regulations
Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is inappropriate or harmful.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Any defects will be corrected
- The Services are free of viruses or harmful components
- The results obtained from using the Services will be accurate or reliable
Educational Content: Our educational materials and assessments are provided for informational and educational purposes. We do not guarantee any specific outcomes, employment results, or professional certifications from using our Services.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WAC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Services
- Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO WAC IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WAC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Your User Content
- Your violation of any third-party rights
Termination
Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account closure feature in your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
Termination by WAC
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination:
- All licenses granted to you will immediately terminate
- You must cease all use of the Services
- We may delete your account and User Content
- Any fees paid are non-refundable except as required by law
Survival
The following sections shall survive termination: Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved as follows:
- Informal Resolution: We encourage you to contact us first to seek an informal resolution
- Mediation: If informal resolution fails, the parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing other remedies
- Arbitration: Any remaining disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Boston, Massachusetts, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association
Class Action Waiver
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
- Notify registered users via email at least 30 days before changes take effect
- Post a prominent notice on our website
Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Services.
